“When a prophet of the Lord is among you, I reveal myself to him in visions, I speak to him in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord.”
When God speaks to us, He will speak using a variety of different formats. These verses reminded me of how I respond to others. I may feel the need or the desire to to share something, but the better I know someone, chances are the more specific information I will provide. This would be particularly true when it comes to sharing something more personal. The closer I am to someone and the closer they are to me, the deeper and more specific my responses will be.
It would appear as though my “sharing process” is part of God’s plan. He too, has the desire to speak to us, but are we close enough to Him that we can understand His words?
