We took another stroll through memory lane as we read a little deeper into the descendants of Benjamin, as well as the family of Saul.
Today we have picture books, or some form of social media, as a way to look back and remember times past. But that would not have been the case for the people during these times.
It is fun to look back and remember the good times we experienced, as well as the bad times we had to endure. We will all experience both scenarios, but how we respond to them is our choice.
What will our descendants think of us, when they see or hear our name?

This stood out for me:
“After Shaharaim divorced his wives Hushim and Baara, he had children in the land of Moab.”
1 Chronicles 8:8 NLT
We know that God’s plan for marriage does not include divorce. Interesting to note that Shaharaim not only divorces his wives but has additional children when he was in Moab. An indication that the desires of his heart overruled his desire to follow God’s plan.
