Psalm 96

“Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.” Psalm 96:2 NLT

This Psalm is a song of praise to God, whom we know will one day come to judge the world. Unfortunately, not all will be happy upon His return. But unless we get the word out, how will the others know.

“Tell all the nations, ‘The Lord reigns!’ The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. He will judge all peoples fairly.” Psalm 96:10 NLT

How often have we heard the words “it’s not fair!”? In fact, we would continually tell our kids that life isn’t fair. Fairness is something that we all want, even as a child. One day, we will all have a chance to experience fairness being ruled. But for some, it will be too late. May we join in, in proclaiming to others the plan of His salvation. Telling all what He has done for us. How He will judge in fairness, and how His words are truth.

  1. Good thoughts. This stood out for me: “O nations of the world, recognize the Lord; recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭96:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
We talked today that where our focus is that it determines our attitude. When we focus on gratitude we become grateful. When we focus on what God has done for us it becomes so obvious and clear that God is ‘glorious and strong’ and worthy of our praise.
