This Psalm points out many reasons as to why God is worthy of our praise:
He answers our prayers (vs 2). He forgives us of our sins (vs 3). He satisfies us (vs 4). He provides us with a hope (vs 5). He is the creator (vs 6). He’s all powerful – He even controls the ocean’s waves (vs 7). Those who don’t even know Him, stop in awe and wonder at the rising and setting of His sun (vs 8). He provides – He cares for the earth and brings rain for the crops, so that they will overflow with abundance (verses 9-13).
In reading this Psalm, I was reminded of the song Waymaker. These are words that the song uses to describe God:
You are here moving in our midst, You are here working in this place. Waymaker, Miracle worker, Promise keeper, Light in the darkness, my God that is who You are. You are here healing every heart, You are here turning lives around, You are here mending every heart. You wipe away all tears. You mend the broken heart. You are the answer to it all, Jesus. You are here touching every life. You are here meeting every need.
That is who He is, and that is why He is worthy of our praise.

Psalms 65:5 NLT
God is faithful. He reveals his goodness to those who call on Him. He is not contained by time or distance. He offers hope to all.
