“Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.” Isaiah 62:1 NLT
Prophets preach and pray and in this chapter, and particularly this verse, the prophet Isaiah is determined to perform the duties of his office. Not occasionally but constantly. This becomes his desire. He will not be silent – he will keep preaching even if that means repeating himself over and over again. He will not stop praying – he will continue to pray to God asking for His provision and continue to pray for Zion that God’s mercies would prevail as promised.
Is that our desire? Are we concerned for the church today? Do we remain silent and idle?
May it be our passion and our desire to not just write our blogs, but to actually speak the truth of God and His plan of salvation to a world that so desperately needs Him.

Again we focus on the same verse: “Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.”
Isaiah 62:1 NLT
It’s kind of like how we pray for our kids because we love them, we want the best for them, and we can’t help but worry and pray for them.
