“Lord, why have you allowed us to turn from your path? Why have you given us stubborn hearts so we no longer fear you? Return and help us, for we are your servants, the tribes that are your special possession.” Isaiah 63:17
We choose. We can either follow God’s instructions and statutes or we can ignore them and follow our sinful desires. When we choose to follow our desires, we typically find ourselves asking why. Why did we just do that? We know better!
May our hearts be softened to the Lord’s commands and may our reverence for the Lord spur one another on towards Him.
