“I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.” Nehemiah 6:12 NIV
The enemy will attempt to distract us from our duty and try to lead us to do that which is sinful. It is good to seek advice but we ought to reject words that are contrary to the word of God. Our knowledge of what God has done for us should lead us to watchfulness, self denial, and diligence.
May we be wise like Nehemiah; being able to discern that which is from the enemy and that which is from the Lord.

Talk about an extreme make over! 52 days to complete? Nothing is impossible with God-even with people plotting against them, even without the modern building equipment, even with vast damage and supplies needed-the job was completed in days. It is believed it took 4 years to build the temple the first time. So thankful to see each God who is capable of the impossible.
