“For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don’t end up in this place of torment.” Luke 16:28 NLT
These are the words of a rich man who had a great deal of wealth and pleasures of this world, but now has nothing and is under God’s wrath for eternity. There will come a day when those who now hate and despise God and his people, will gladly receive kindness from them. But a messenger from the dead can say no more than what is said in the Scriptures. The same strength of corruption that breaks through the convictions of the written word would also triumph over a witness from the dead.
Though it is only by the grace of God that one comes to Him in repentance, it does not take away our call to warn those who do not yet know Him. May we testify unto them, be a witness to them, and inform them of the consequences that await them.

““But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’””
Luke 16:31 NLT
Just a bit of foreshadowing here… and unfortunately it’s true. All the signs, miracles, and warnings have no value to someone without faith. They will be unconvinced and stubborn regardless off what is shown to them as proof.
