“I in them and you in me, so that they may be brought into complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:23 NIV
Complete unity. That is hard to fathom when, as believers, we cannot agree on so many different levels. With the pandemic there is a prevalent disunity in our nation among believers. This has raised the debate as to whether or not one should be vaccinated, the use of masks, along with following the governments Covid mandates and regulations as their intended meaning.
I am reminded of Paul’s words in Romans 14, when he encourages the church to stop passing judgement onto one another which can cause one to stumble, and instead, focus on what is absolute and important – that Christ lived, died, and returned to life so that He would be the Lord of all.
As believers, may our focus and public voice accurately reflect who Christ is and what he has done for us, and thereby removing the stumbling blocks for those who are new believers or who do not yet know Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.

Great thoughts.
This stood out for me: “Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.”
John 17:5 NLT
There’s a line from a Christmas song that I’ve heard on the radio lately that has a line of lyrics that basically says Mary was created by God’s hand and gave birth to the Son of God. If Jesus was with God when Mary was created …isn’t that a little mind blowing. It’s almost too hard to comprehend.
